ورلي ان کي ماسٽر گلئنڊ (master gland) به سڏجي اينڊوڪرائين غدودن (endocrine gland) ۾ انتھائي اھم ٿئي ٿو. ٻين اينڊوڪرائين غدودن ۽ جسم جي ڪيترن ڪمن تي ڪنٽرول ڪري ٿو ۽ ھلائي ٿو. مٽر جي داڻي جيترو ھي غدود ھائپوٿيلامس (hypothalamus) سان اعصابي تاندورن جي ڏانڊي رستي ڳنڍيل ٿئي ٿو. ان جو مھاڙيون گولڙو گروٿ ھارمون (growth hormone)؛ پروليڪٽن ؛ اي سي ٽي ايڇ، ٽي ايس ايڇ (thyroid- stimulating hormone) پيدا ڪري ٿو جيڪو ٿائروائڊ (thyroid) غدود رستي گوناڊوٽرافنس ايف ايس ايڇ (gonadotrophins FSH) ۽ ليوٽينائيزنگ ھارمون (luteinizing hormone) ۽ ميلانوسائيٽ ـ اسٽيميوليٽنگ ھارمون (melanocyte-stimulating hormone/MSH) جيڪو چمڙيءَ جي گهرائپ تي ڪنٽرول ڪن ٿا پيدا ڪرائي ٿو. جڏھن ته پٽيوئيٽري جو پويون گولڙو اَي ڊي ايڇ (ADH) ۽ آڪسيٽاسن (oxytocin) پيدا ڪري ٿو.
