ھڪ اھڙي دوا جنھن ۾ نڪوٽين (nicotine) ٿئي ٿي، دوا سگريٽ جي عادت ترڪ ڪرڻ ۾ مددگار ٿئي ٿي. نڪوٽين واريون دوائون ڄڀ ھيٺان (sublingual) رکڻ لاءِ گورين ۽ لوزينجس (lozenges)، چيونگ گمن (chewing gum)، اسڪن پيچز (skin patches)، نيزل اسپري (nasal spray) ۽ انھيليٽرس (inhalators) جي صورت ۾ ملن ٿيون. ھن دوا جي اُگرن اثرن ۾ اوڪارا، مٿي جو سور، دل جو دھڪو، سيءُ يا فلوءَ جھڙي تڪليف، ھڏڪي ۽ ڀيانڪ سپنا ڏسي سگهجن ٿا. نڪوٽين ريپليسمينٽ ٿراپي مڪمل اپاءَ طور استعمال ڪرڻ گهرجي جنھن ۾ اھو عزم به ھجڻ گهرجي ته ان ڪم ۾ ڪاميابي حاصل ٿيندي.
