غدود، مخصوص سيلن جو ھڪ اھڙو گروپ جيڪي جسم ۾ ڪن قسمن جا ڪيميائي مادا جھڙوڪ: ھارمون (hormones) ۽ انزائيمون (enzymes) پيدا ۽ خارج ڪن ٿا. غدودن جا مکيا ٻه قسم ٿين ٿا: اينڊوڪرين (endocrine) ۽ ايڪسوڪرين (exocrine). اينڊوڪرين غدودن کي نليون نٿيون ٿين ۽ پنھنجيون رطوبتون سڌيون رت جي وھڪري ۾ خارج ڪن ٿا، انھن جا مثال پٽيوئيٽري، ٿائروائڊ ۽ اَڊرينل غدود ٿين ٿا. ايڪسوڪرين غدودن کي نليون ٿين ٿيون ۽ پنھنجيون رطوبتون يا ته چمڙيءَ جي مٿاڇري تي (سيبيشس غدودن) يا ڪنھن ڍانڍي عضوي جھڙوڪ: وات يا ھاضمي جي ناليءَ (پڪ جي غدودن) ۾ خارج ڪن ٿا.
