ڪنھن مشڪ ۾ ھڪ اھڙي سور پيدا ڪندڙ ڳڍڙي جو پوڻ جيڪو مشڪي تاندورن جي حد کان وڌيڪ ۽ ڊگهي وقت تائين تاڻجڻ سبب پيدا ٿئي ٿو. ڳڍڙين پوڻ جو ڪارڻ ڪنھن مشڪ جي گهڻيءَ سرگرمي سبب ليڪٽڪ ايسڊ ۽ ٻين ڪيميائي مادن جو مشڪن ۾ گڏ ٿيڻ ۽ مشڪي تاندورن جي ھڪ ننڍڙي حصي جي تباه ٿيڻ سبب پيدا ٿي سگهي ٿو. ساڳي قسم جي ھر ھر سرگرمي ڪرڻ جھڙوڪ: لکڻ يا ويھڻ يا بي ڊولي طريقي سان آھلڻ ڪري به ڳڍڙي پيدا ٿي سگهي ٿي. ڪيتريون دوائون به اُگرن اثرن طور ڳڍڙيون پيدا ڪري سگهن ٿيون ته ان سان گڏ گهڻو پگهر به اچي سگهي ٿو. ڇاڪاڻ ته سوڊيم لوڻن جي ضايع ٿيڻ سان مشڪ جو ڪم متاثر ٿئي ٿو. متاثر مشڪ کي آڍڻ يا ڊگهيرڻ سان آرام ملي سگهي ٿو. رات جو ھر ھر پوندڙ ڳڍڙين جي حالت ۾ ڪُئنِين (quinine) ڏئي سگهجي ٿي.
