کنگهه، ھڪ اھڙو رفليڪس ايڪشن جيڪو، لعاب، بلغم، ڪنھن ڌارئي جسم يا ڪنھن به خلل يا ٻنج پيدا ڪندڙ مادي کي ساه لنگهه مان صاف ڪرڻ جي ڪوشش ۾ پيدا ٿئي ٿو. جڏھن کنگهه سان لعاب يا بلغم خارج ٿئي ٿو تڏھن پراڊڪٽو (productive) سڏجي ٿي ۽ جڏھن ڀُڪَ/خشڪ ھجي ٿي ۽ ان سان گڏ ڪجهه به خارج نٿو ٿئي ٿئي تڏھن اِنپراڊڪٽِو (unproductive) سڏجي ٿي. ڪيترن قسمن جي کنگهه ساھه لنگهه ۾ دز، دونھين (ڏسو، cough, smoker’s) يا مٿين ساه ناليءَ ۾ ڪنھن وائرسي روڳ جي ارتعاش (irritation) سبب پيدا ٿئي ٿي (ڏسو، cold common, laryngitis, pharyngitis, tracheitis). کنگهه برانڪائيٽس (bronchitis)، دم (asthma)، نمونيا pneumonia)) ۽ ڦڦڙ جي ڪينسر جي ھڪ نشاني ٿئي ٿي (وڌيڪ ڏسو، cough remedies).
