گهنج پوڻ ھڪ اھڙو قدرتي عمل ٿئي ٿو جيڪو عمر وڌڻ سان گڏ چمڙيءَ ۾ پيدا ٿيڻ شروع ٿئي ٿو جنھن جو ڪارڻ چمڙيءَ جي لچڪ جو گهٽجي وڃڻ ٿئي ٿو. وقت کان اڳ پوندڙ گهرن گهنجن پوڻ جو ڪارڻ عام طور تي اس جي الٽراوايوليٽ ڪرڻن ۾ گهڻو وائکو ٿيڻ ٿئي ٿو. اھڙو ڪو به علاج ڪونھي جنھن رستي چمڙيءَ جي لچڪ کي دائمي طور تي قائم رکي سگهجي جڏھن ته وٽامن اَي جون ڪجهه ڊيريويٽن/اخذ ڪيل ڪيميائي مادن لاءِ سمجهيو وڃي ٿو ته گهنج گهٽائين ٿيون. فيس لفٽ (پلاسٽڪ سرجري) ڪرائڻ سان چمڙي ڇڪجي گهنج ختم ڪري ڇڏي ٿي ۽ ان جو اثر 10 سالن تائين ھلي ٿو. جڏھن ته ھاڻ، مُنھن جي گهنجن جي علاج لاءِ فيس لفٽ / پلاسٽڪ سرجريءَ تي وڏي پئماني تي ھڪ طريقو بوتوڪس (botulinum toxin/Botox) غالب ٿي ويو آھي.
