دل جي ھڪ سنگين قسم جي اَرڌميا جنھن ۾ دل جي ھر ڌڙڪن، ساڄي ايٽريم جي سائنوئيٽريئل نوڊ (sinoatrial node) بجاءِ وينٽريڪلن مان پيدا ٿيندڙ برقي سرگرميءَ سبب پيدا ٿئي ٿي. جنھن جو ڪارڻ غيرمعمولي طور تي دل جي تيز رفتار ھجڻ ڪري دل جي سنگين بيماري جھڙوڪ: مايوڪارڊيئل انفارڪشن (myocardial infarction) يا ڪارڊيوماياپيٿي (cardiomyopathy) ٿئي ٿي جيڪا ڪجهه سيڪنڊ يا ڪيترن ڏينھن تائين ھلي ٿي جنھن جي پڪ اِي سي جي (ECG) رستي ڪجي ٿي. ھنگامي علاج لاءِ ڊيفيبريليشن (defibrillation)، ڪا اينٽي اَرٿِمڪ (antiarrhythmic) دوا ڏجي ٿي يا ريڊيوفرـ يڪيوئنسي ابليشن (radiofrequency ablation) ڪجي ٿي.
