ٽارچ انفيڪشن کي ٽارچ سنڊِروم (torch syndrome) به سڏجي ھڪ اھڙو انفيڪشن ٿئي ٿو جيڪو ڳڀيرڻ ۾ واڌ ڪندڙ ابھم يا نئين ڄاول ٻار ۾ يا ڄمڻ کانپوءِ پيدا ٿي سگهي ٿو. انھن مان ڪنھن به ھڪ انفيڪشن سبب ٿي پوي ٿو جن جو ٽارچ مخفف ۾ ذڪر ڪيل آھي جيڪي آھن: ٽوڪسوپلازما گونڊي (Toxoplasma gondii)، ٻيا عنصر جھڙوڪ: ٽريپونيما پيليڊيم (Treponema pallidum)، ويريسيلا زوسٽر وائرس (varicella zoster virus/VZV)، پاروو وائرس (parvovirus/B19) ۽ ھيومن اِميونوڊيفيشنسي وائرس (human immunodeficiency virus/HIV)، خسرو (Rubella) سائٽوميگالو وائرس (Cytomegalovirus/CMV) ۽ ھرپيس سمپليڪس وائرس (Herpes simplex virus/HSV).
