ڪنڊي جا ڪيترا نقص پٺيءَ جو سور پيدا ڪن ٿا. اسپائينا بفيڊا (spina bifida) ھڪ پيدائشي نقص ٿئي ٿو جنھن ۾ مغزي ڏوريءَ جو ھڪ حصو ظاھر ٿي پوي ٿو. ورلي، ڪنڊي جو ورُ غيرمعمولي ھجي ٿو (ڏسو، lordosis, kyphosis, scoliosis). اينڪائيلوزنگ اسپنڊيلائيٽس (ankylosing spondylitis) ۽ ريوميٽوائڊ آرٿرائيٽس (rheumatoid arthritis) جي ڪن ڪيسن ۾ ڪنڊي جا سنڌ متاثر ٿيل ھجن ٿا. آسٽيئوآرٿرائيٽس 60 سالن کان وڏيءَ عمر جي ڪيترن فردن جي ڪنڊي جي سنڌن کي متاثر ڪري وجهي ٿو. ڪنڊي کي متاثر ڪندڙ ٻين نقصن ۾ شامل ٿين ٿا اسپنڊيلولسٿيسس (spondylolisthesis)، ريوميٽوائڊ آرٿرائيٽس (rheumatoid arthritis) ۽ ڊسڪ جو نڪري پوڻ (وڌيڪ ڏسو، spinal injury).
