چمڙي مختلف بيمارين جو شڪار ٿي سگهي ٿي جن ۾ پيدائشي نشان (birthmarks)، وائرسي (جھڙوڪ: ڪولڊ سور ۽ ھسا) بئڪٽيريائي (جھڙوڪ: سيلولائيٽس) يا ڦنگي انفيڪشن (ٽينيا جنھن سبب اٿليٽس فوٽ ٿي پوي ٿو)، ڊٻڙ جن جو ڪارڻ وٽامن جي کوٽ يا دوائن جي اُگرن اثرن ۽ ڳوڙھين (ڪينسري ۽ اَڪينسري) سبب به ٿين ٿا. موھيڙا (pimpiles) نوجوانن ۾ عام ٿي پون ٿا ۽ ڪنھن حد تائين اينڊروجن (endrogen) ھارمونن جي اثرن سان لاڳاپيل ٿين ٿا. چمڙيءَ جي سوزش ڊرميٽائيٽس (dermatitis)، مَلي (eczema) ۽ چمڙيءَ جي الرجيءَ (skin allergy) سبب ٿي پوي ٿي. ان کانسواءِ چمڙي ضربن، ڪٽجي پوڻ، چَڪن لاءِ به حساس ٿئي ٿي (ڏسو، bites, animal; insect bites).
