سيڪس ـ ڊٽرمنيشن
اھي عنصر جيڪي ڪنھن فرد جي جنس/ صنف جو فيصلو ڪن ٿا، اھي سيڪس ڪروموسوم (sex chromosomes) ٿين ٿا ۽ ٻچي ۾ گوناڊس (جنسي سيل) جي مختلف اوسر ڪرائين ٿا جن مان مادي جون آنيدانيون ۽ نرن جا خصيا پيدا ٿين ٿا. پوءِ نرن جاخصيا ھارمون پيدا ڪن ٿا جيڪي نر جا پيدائشي عضوا پيدا ڪن ٿا. انھن ھارمونن جي نه ھجڻ جي حالت مادي پيدائشي سرشتو پيدا ٿئي ٿو. بالغ ٿيڻ وقت ھارمونن جي ھڪ ٻي لهر ثانوي جنسي خاصيتون (secondary sexual characteristics) پيدا ڪري ٿي. ڪروموسومن جي نقص يا ھارموني بگاڙ سبب جنسي منجهيل حالت (ڏسو، genitalia, ambiguous) پيدا ٿئي ٿي، جڏھن ته ورلي ھرمافروڊائيٽ (hermaphroditism، ٻٽي جنس، نر ۾ مادي پيدائشي عضوا) واري حالت پيدا ٿئي ٿي.
