ساه لنگهه جو انفيڪشن جيڪو نڪ کان آليولي (alveoli) تائين ٿئي ٿو. ھن قسم جي انفيڪشن کي ھيٺين ۽ مٿين ساه لنگه جي انفيڪشنن ۾ ورھايو وڃي ٿو. مٿين ساه لنگهه جو انفيڪشن نڪ (nose)، نڙيءَ (throat)، سائِنوسِس (sinuses) ۽ گلي (larynx) کي متاثر ڪري ٿو. جنھن ۾ شامل ٿين ٿا ڪامن ڪولڊ (common cold)، فيرنجائيٽس (pharyngitis)، ڪليون پوڻ (tonsillitis)، سائنوسائيٽس (sinusitis)، ليرنجائيٽس (laryngitis) ۽ خُروسَڪ/ ساه جي مونجهه ۽ کنگهه (croup).ھيٺين ساه لنگهه جا انفيڪشن نڙگهٽ (trachea)، برونڪي (bronchi) ۽ ڦڦڙن سميت برانڪائيٽس (bronchitis)، شديد برونڪيولائيٽس (acute bronchiolitis) ۽ نمونيا (pneumonia).
