ساھه کڻڻ. جنھن عمل ھيٺ جانورن ۾ آڪسيجن (oxygen) ڦڦڙن (lungs) ۾ پھچي ٿي ۽ ڪاربان ڊاءِ آڪسائيڊ (carbon dioxide) خارج ٿي وڃي ٿي. آڪسيجن واري ھوا ساه رستي ڦڦڙن ۾ کڻجي ٿي ته اھا آلويولي (alveoli) ۾ داخل ٿي وڃي ٿي. آڪسيجن، رت ۾ جذب (diffuse) ٿي جسم جي سيلن کي رسي، گلوڪوس (glucose) کي ميٽابولائيز ڪري توانائي پيدا ڪري ٿي. موٽ ۾ غلاظت طور ڪاربان ڊاءِ آڪسائيڊ پيدا ٿي رت سان ملي، ڦڦڙن تائين پھچي ساه رستي خارج ٿي وڃي ٿي.
