طب ۾ دنيا ۾ استعمال ٿيندڙ ھڪ مخصوص طريقو جنھن رستي ايڪسريز (X-rays)، سي ٽي اسڪيننگ (CT scanning)، الٽراسائونڊ (ultrasound) ايم آر آءِ (MRI) ۽ ريڊيونيوڪلائيڊ اسڪيننگ (radionuclide scanning) رستي چڪاس، تشخيص ۽ علاج ڪجي ٿو. ريڊيلاجيڪل طريقا جسم جا عڪس مھيا ڪن ٿا جن لاءِ غيرجراحي (noninvasive) طريقا استعمال ڪجن ٿا جنھن سبب تفتيشي جراحيءَ ڪرڻ جي ضرورت نٿي ٿئي. ھنن طريقن سان اھو به ممڪن ٿئي ٿو ته تشخيص ۽ علاج لاءِ جسم جي مختلف حصن تائين اوزار (جھڙوڪ: نيڊلس ۽ ڪيٿيٽرس) بلڪل پورنتا سان پھچائي سگهجن. ھن طريقي کي انٽروينشنل ريڊيالاجي (interventional radiology) سڏجي ٿو.
