خصيي (testis) جي سوزش جنھن جو ڪارڻ ڪا جنسي وچڙندڙ بيماري (sexually transmitted infection) يا پيشاب لنگهه (urinary tract) جو انفيڪشن ٿي سگهي ٿو. ان جو ڪارڻ مَلي (mumps) به ٿي سگهي ٿي خاص طور تي جيڪڏھن انفيڪشن بالغ ٿيڻ کانپوءِ ٿي پوي، جڏھن ته ھاڻ ان سبب گهٽ ٿئي ٿي، ڇاڪاڻ ته ايم ايم آر ويڪسينيشن (MMR vaccination) ڏجي ٿي. متاثر خصيي ۾ سوڄ ۽ شديد سور ٿيڻ سان گڏ تيز بخار به ٿي پوي ٿو. اپيڊيڊومو ـ اورڪائيٽس (epididymo-orchitis) ۾ جنھن نليءَ رستي خصيي مان تخمي جيو پھچن ٿا ان جي به سوزش ٿي پوي ٿي. علاج لاءِ انلجيسڪ (analgesic) دوائون ڏجن ٿيون ۽ سوڄ گهٽائڻ لاءِ برف رکجي ٿي، اينٽيبِياٽڪ (antibiotics) دوائون به ڏئي سگهجن ٿيون پر مليءَ سبب ٿيندڙ آرڪائيٽس لاءِ نه. عام طور تي 7 ڏينھن ۾ تڪليف گهٽجڻ شروع ڪري ٿي ته ورلي ان کانپوءِ متاثر خصيو سسي به وڃي ٿو.
