لمفو ما

موتمار ٺوس، ڳوڙھي دار غدود، جيڪو لمف نوڊ لعابي غدود ۽ ان سان لاڳاپيل اوڄ ۽ ھڏن جي مک سان ڳنڍيل ھجي . Solid malignant tumors of the lymph nodes and associated tissues or bonemarrow.

انھن قسمن جي ڪينسرن مان ڪا به جنھن ۾ لِمفوائڊي ٽشو (خاص طور تي لِمف نوڊن ۽ تريءَ جا) بي ضابطا واڌ ڪن ٿا. لِمفومائن کي ٻن قسمن ۾ ورھايو وڃي ٿو. انھن مان جن ۾ ڪي مخصوص غيرمعمولي سيل (Reed-Sternberg cells) موجود ھجن ٿا تڏھن ان بيماريءَ کي ھاجڪنس (Hodgkin’s) بيماري سڏجي ٿو. باقي سڀني قسمن کي نان ـ ھاجڪنس لِمفوما (non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma) چئجي ٿو (ڏسو، Burkitt’s lymphoma; Hodgkin’s disease; lymphoma, non-Hodgkin’s).
