اک جي بلور (crystalline lens) جو پنھنجيءَ اصليءَ جاءِ تان ٿڙي وڃڻ. بلور جو ٿڙڻ عام طور تي سدائين ڪنھن ڌڪ سبب ٿئي ٿو تنھنڪري جيڪي تاندورا بلور کي سيليئري باڊيءَ (ciliary body) سان جوٽيل رکن ٿا اھي ٽٽي پون ٿا. مارفانس سنڊروم (Marfan’s syndrome) ۾ اھي تاندورا خاص طور تي ڪمزور ٿين ٿا ۽ بلور جو ٿڙڻ عام ٿي پوي ٿو. بلور جو ٿڙڻ، موروثي ميٽابولي نقص؛ ھوموسِسٽينيورويا (homocystinuria) جو به سبب ٿئي ٿو. ٿڙيل بلور سبب ديد ۾ شديد خلل پيدا ٿي سگهي ٿو يا نظر ٻٽي پئجي سگهي ٿي ته ورلي، اک جي مھاڙين حصي مان پاڻيٺ جو وھڪرو متاثر ٿي ڪاري پاڻيءَ (glaucoma) جو ھڪ قسم به پيدا ٿي سگهي ٿو. جيڪڏھن ڪارو پاڻي شديد ھجي ته ممڪن ٿئي ٿو ته بلور ڪڍي ڇڏڻو پوي (ڏسو، aphakia).
