انھن ابھمن جو انگ جيڪي پنھنجيءَ زندگيءَ جي پھرين سال في 1000 زنده ڄمندڙ ٻارڙن مان فوت ٿي وڃن ٿا. اٽڪل سڀني مرندڙن 3 مان 2 ٻارڙا نُونيٽل عرصي (زندگيءَ جي پھرين مھيني) ۾ مري وڃن ٿا. مرندڙن مان گهڻا اھي ھجن ٿا جيڪي وقت کان گهڻا اڳ/ ڪچا پيدا ٿين ٿا يا منجهن ڄمڻ سان ئي شديد نقص ھجن ٿا. ابھمن جي مرڻ جو ھڪ مکيو ڪارڻ ڪاٽ ڊيٿ (sudden infant death syndrome) ٿئي ٿو.
