اِمُيو.نا.لاجِي

اِميون سرشتي (immune system) سان لاڳاپيل طب جي ھڪ شاخ. جنھن جا ماھر؛ اِميونولاجسٽ (immunologist) اِميون سرشتي جي ڪم ڪرڻ جو اڀياس، بيمارين جي جاچ ۽ علاج ڪن ٿا جن ۾ الرجيون (allergies)، آٽواِميون ڊسئارڊر (autoimmune disorder) ۽ اِميونوڊيفيشنسي ڊسئارڊر (immunodeficiency disorders) جھڙوڪ: ائڊس (AIDS) شامل ٿين ٿا. اِميونولاجسٽ انھن طريقن ڳولهڻ جي به ڪوشش ڪن ٿا جن سان اِميون سرشتي کي متحرڪ ڪري مدافعت (immunity) پيدا ڪري سگهجي. ان سميت انھن جو ٽرانسپلانٽ سرجريءَ ۾ به اھم ڪم ٿئي ٿو ڇاڪاڻ ته اھي جراحي ڪرڻ کان اڳ ۾ ڪنھن عضوي جي عطيي ڏيندڙ ۽ وٺندڙ جي پاڻ ۾ سٺي ميل ھجڻ جي پڪ ڪن ٿا ۽ عطيي وٺڻ کانپوءِ ان جي اِميون سرشتي کي ھيڻو ڪري ڇڏين ٿا ته جيئن جسم ورتل عضوو جي روت يا پيوند کي رد ڪري نه سگهي.
