اھو سرشتو جنھن ۾ جسم جا اينڊوڪرائين غدود ٿين ٿا ۽ ھارمون پيدا ڪن ٿا. انھن غدودن ۾ ٿائروائڊ (thyroid)، لب لبه (pancreas)، خصيا (testes)، آنيدانيون (ovaries) ۽ اَڊرينل (adrenal) غدود ٿين ٿا. ھارمون جسم جا ڪيترائي عمل ڪرائين ٿا جن ۾ واڌ، ميٽابولزم (metabolism)، جنسي ڪم ۽ پريشانيءَ جي موٽ ڏيڻ شامل ٿئي ٿو. ڪنھن به مخصوص ھارمون جي پيداوار ۾ واڌ يا کوٽ ان عمل ۾ خلل پيدا ڪري ٿي جنھن ۾ اھو ھارمون شامل ٿئي ٿو. ڪيترن اينڊوڪرائين غدودن جي ھارمون جي گهٽ يا گهڻي پيداوار تي پٽيوئيٽري (pituitary) غدود ضابطو رکي ٿو جنھن جي موٽ ۾ دماغ ۾ موجود ھائپوٿيلامس (hypothalamus) ھڪ فيڊبيڪ (feedback) عمل رستي ڪنٽرول ڪري ٿو.
