ھڪ اھڙو طريقو جنھن ۾ ھڪ نفيس، اسٽرائيل ڪيٿيٽر (catheter) ڪنھن رت نليءَ رستي دل تائين رسائي ان رستي دل جون حالتون جھڙوڪ: دل جي پيدائشي بيماريءَ (ڏسو، heart disease, congenital)، ڪورونري آرٽري ڊزيز (coronary artery disease) ۽ دل جي والن جا ڪي نقص (ڏسو، valvuloplasty) تشخيص ڪجن ٿا، انھن جي ڇنڊڇاڻ ۽ علاج ڪجي ٿو. ان طريقي دوران، دل جي چيمبرن جو دٻاءَ ماپي، رت ۽ ٽشوئن جا نمونا گڏ ڪري ۽ ھڪ ريڊيواوپيڪ (radiopaque) مادو ھڻي دل جي خانن جي ايڪسري ڪڍي سگهجي ٿي. ڪورونري اينجيوپلاسٽيءَ (coronary angioplasty) ۽ اسٽينٽنگ (stenting) دوران ڪارڊيئڪ ڪيٿيٽيرائيزيشن به استعمال ڪري سگهجي ٿي.
