بِرين ـ ٽيو.مر
دماغ ۾ اندر يا ٻاھر ڪا به غيرمعمولي واڌ. اھڙيون ڳوڙھيون پرائمري به ٿي سگهن ٿيون يعني سنيون سڌيون کوپريءَ جي ماس يا ٽشوئن مان پيدا ٿين ٿيون ته سيڪنڊري يعني وگهريل به ٿي سگهن ٿيون جيڪي جسم جي ڪنھن ٻئي ھنڌ تان پکڙجن ٿيون. پرائمري بِرين ٽيومر جي ڪارڻ جي ڄاڻ ڪونھي. انھن مان 60 سيڪڙو گليوما (gliomas، گهڻي ڀاڱي ڪينسري) دماغ جي ٽشوئن مان پيدا ٿين ٿيون. اھڙن ٻين پرائمري ڳوڙھين ۾ مينِنجيئوما (meningiomas)، اڪائوسٽڪ نيورووما (acoustic neuromas) ۽ پٽيوئيٽري ٽيومر (pituitary tumours) ٿين ٿا. انھن مان گهڻا اَڪينسري (noncancerous) ٿين ٿا پر انھن جي سائيز مقامي تباھي پيدا ڪري سگهي ٿي. دماغ جا ڪن قسمن جا پرائمري ٽيومر گهڻي ڀاڱي ٻارن کي متاثر ڪن ٿا. جن ۾ ٻن قسمن جا گليوميا ٿين ٿا جن کي ميڊيولوبلاسٽوما (medulloblastoma) ۽ سيريبيلر ايسٽروسائيٽوما (cerebellar astrocytoma) سڏجي ٿو. اصل ۾ پرائمري بِرين ٽيومر مرڪزي تنتي سرشتي کان ٻاھر ڪڏھن به وگهري نٿا سگهن.
