بائيل ـ ڊڪٽ ـ آب.سٽرڪ.شن
پتي جي نليءَ يا بائيل ڊڪٽ جي ٻنج (ڏسو، biliary system) پتي جي نليءَ جي ٻنج جيري ۾ پت جي گڏ ٿي وڃڻ (cholestasis) ۽ جانڊس (jaundice) رت ۾ بِليريوبن جي گڏ ٿي وڃڻ سبب پيدا ٿئي ٿي. ڊگهي عرصي تائين ٻنج قائم رھي ته ثانوي بِلييري سِروسس (biliary cirrhosis) پيدا ڪري سگهي ٿي. اھڙيءَ ٻنج جا گهڻا عام ڪارڻ پتي جون پٿريون (gall- stones) ٿين ٿيون. ٻين ڪارڻن ۾ ڪا ڳوڙھي جيڪا لب لبه کي متاثر ڪندڙ ھجي (ڏسو، pancreas, cancer of) جنھن مان پتي جي نلي گذرندي ھجي يا اھڙي ڪينسر جيڪا جسم جي ڪنھن ٻئي حصي مان وگهري ھجي. ڪولينجيئوڪارسينوما (cholangiocarcinoma) اھڙي ٻنج جو تمام ورلي ڪو ڪارڻ ٿئي ٿو. ڪن دوائن سبب پتي جي نليءَ جي ٻنج جو پيدا ٿيڻ ورلي ڪارڻ ٿئي ٿو، جيڪا ڪولينجيٽائيٽس (cholangitis/inflammation of the bile ducts)، ضرب ۽ ورلي ريج ڪينئن (flukes) سبب پيدا ٿي سگهي ٿي.
