مايوسي (depression) جي علاج جون دوائون. جن مان ڪيتريون عام استعمال ٿيندڙ ھيٺين مان ڪنھن ھڪ گروپ سان واسطو رکن ٿيون: ٽرائساڪلڪ (tricyclic)، سيليڪٽو سيروٽونين ريئپٽيڪ انھيبيٽر (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors/SSRIs) ۽ مونوامائين آڪسيڊيز اِنھيبيٽر (monoamine oxidase inhibitors/MAOIs). عام طور تي اھي دوائون ڊپريشن جون تڪليفون گهٽائڻ ۾ ڪارائتيون ٿين ٿيون، پر عام طور تي اثرائتي ٿيڻ ۾ 2 کان 3 ھفتا وٺن ٿيون. علاج اٽڪل گهٽ ۾ گهٽ 6 مھينن تائين ھلي ٿو جنھن دوران دوا جو وزن آھستي آھستي گهٽائي پوءِ بند ڪري ڇڏجي ٿي.
