الڪوحل کي ايٿائيل.الڪوحل (ethyl alcohol)، گَرين الڪوحل (grain alcohol)، اِٿنول (ethanol) ۽ فرمينٽينشن الڪوحل (fermentation alcohol) به سڏجي ھڪ بي رنگ، صاف پاڻيٺ، بخار ٿي ويندڙ، ڀڙڪندڙ، پاڻيءَ ۾ حل ٿي ويندڙ پاڻيٺ، نشاستن کي ڦِيڻ (yeast) رستي خميرڻ سان پيدا ڪجي ٿي. بيير (beer) ۽ وائين (wine) جهڙن مشروبن جو ھڪ اھم حصو ٿئي ٿو. طب ۾ اينٽي سيپٽڪ (antiseptic) ۽ ڳار (solvent) طور استعمال ڪجي ٿو. ان جي ڀيٽ ۾ مِٿَنول (methanol) انتھائي زھريلو مادو ٿئي ٿو.
