چھاءَ، چوس، اھڙو عمل جنھن سان جسم ۾ پاڻيٺون ۽ ٻيا مادا ٽشوئن ۾ جذب ٿين ٿا. عام طور تي ھن اصطلاح مان مراد، ھاضمي جي ناليءَ مان کاڌي جي غذائي جزن جو رت ۽ لِمف (lymph) ۾ شامل ٿيڻ ٿئي ٿو. انھن جي جذب ٿيڻ جو مکيو ھنڌ ننڍو آنڊو ٿئي ٿو جنھن جي استر تي آڱرين جھڙا خوردبيني اڀار؛ وليون (ڏسو، villus) موجود ٿين ٿيون. ولِين سبب آنڊي جي مٿاڇري واري ايراضي تمام گهڻي وڌي وڃڻ ڪري مادن جي جذب ٿيڻ جي رفتار به تيز ٿي وڃي ٿي.
